Limited Edition Style

Quality: Designed in Switzerland. Made in Portugal on century-old looms. REACH certified colour dyes. Learn more about the making of our shoes.

Materials: Natural Portuguese mulesing-free sheep wool upper & inner. Durable rubber sole & genuine top-grain Nubuck. Includes an inner sole with wool covering and elastic laces.

Care: Machine washable with “wool” program (30° C, gentle spin) with light, wool detergent. Air drying is recommended. Repair kits are available for increased longevity.

Fit: The Wool Ballerinas are designed narrower than traditional Baabuk footwear. Customers with wide feet are encouraged to try our sneaker or slip-on styles.

Specifications: Heel drop: 3mm, Arch height: 3mm.

Baabuk ships to most countries

- Switzerland: Free shipping on orders over 100 CHF. 10 CHF for most other orders.

- USA: Free shipping on orders over $200. $15 for most other orders. For our US customers: import tariffs are paid by Baabuk, so your order arrives with no extra fees.

- Other destinations: Free shipping to most countries on orders over €200. Standard shipping rates will be calculated at checkout. Customers outside of the EU may be responsible for any applicable import duties and taxes.

Some items may have special shipping rates, such as small accessories or large home accessories. For these items, shipping rates will be calculated at checkout.

We accept returns & exchanges within 30 days of delivery. We also offer our unique U-Turn option!

For traditional returns and exchanges, items in new and unused condition can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Once we receive your return package, we’ll either replace or refund your order per your request. You are responsible for the cost of return shipping. Read more on our returns page.

However, we recognize that the process of working with wool is and art and therefore, some products are more susceptible to faster wear. Natural Wool

A long tradition of wool making occupies the Serre de Estrella region, where these super sleek shoes are made. Which is why we chose it. They work in a beautiful way that creates a premium fibre, bursting with the incredible natural characteristics of wool, but that’s kind to the sheep and our planet in the process.

Made of wool upper, these Ballerinas are durable, flexible and water repellent on the outside, and irresistibly cosy, and completely itch-free inside. And no matter the temperature, the wool’s natural moisture-wicking and breathable properties will always keep your feet comfortable.

Minimalist design

Everything we make is built on clean lines, bold yet natural colours, and stylish compositions that have a subtle yet striking result. Our soft natural latex soles are both kind to your feet, and the planet. The material is flexible and durable, so will last many years. Care FAQ

Both! Wool is an insulating and regulating material, so it will protect your feet from the cold in the winter, and keep them cool in the summer. So you can enjoy your pair of Baabuk at all times of the year.

Wool is naturally water repellent, thanks to the natural waxy coating on its fibres. This means stains and spills will be less likely to affect the fabric. But do note, they aren’t completely waterproof, so will be less effective in heavier rain or deep puddles.

If your Baabuk sneakers have gotten wet, simply remove them, and dry at room temperature. Avoid putting them in a dryer. Wool doesn’t get damaged by water and won’t shrink, as the raw material has already been washed and felted – so don’t worry.

Baabuk sneakers & shoes are conveniently machine washable. We recommend using a wool detergent and the preset "wool", or washing at 30° C / 90° F on a gentle cycle. Insoles can be removed during washing. And make sure to air dry - do not use the dryer.
